Est. in 1971 by William and Betty Prinzen Sr. the family farm operated as a dairy farm. In 2003 Derrick Prinzen and his wife Sharon Sibthorpe decided to cease the dairy farm and raise broiler chickens for Maple Lodge Farms.
Approximately two hundred thousand chickens are raised annually in a climate controlled, free range atmosphere in order to control disease.
The two floor, sixty by two hundred foot barn, is cleaned and disinfected between each flock. No hormones are used in the production of our chickens.
We carry and sell a wide variety of Maple Lodge Farm chicken products. We supply to a number of fine restaurants in Prince Edward County.
